Guidelines Pool Closing Policy At the discretion of the pool manager, the pool may be closed for the following reasons: Lightning/thunder (it takes a minimum of 30 minutes for an 'all clear' signal after last lightning/thunder is seen/heard) Low attendance (less than 15 patrons) Air temperature below 65° F Mechanical or chemical interruptions Know Before You Go Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing safety rules and responding to emergencies. Parents or guardians should supervise their children. Children 10 years of age and under must be accompanied by a responsible individual 16 years or older All children three years of age and under, and those not toilet trained or incontinent, MUST wear a swim diaper, as required by the Illinois Department of Health. Swimwear is required for everyone Young children who are non-swimmers and anyone wearing a life jacket must be accompanied in the water within an arm’s reach by an individual 16 years of age or older Must be 48 inches tall to ride the water slide Persons using the diving well (AquaClimb or diving boards) must be able to pass the deep-water swim test. If swimming ability is questionable, facility staff will evaluate the participant. Health and Safety breaks are taken every hour - anyone under 18 years of age will be required to exit the water at this time Refunds are not given for pool closings or rain outs Pool passes and daily admission are non-refundable and non-transferable. All food and beverages must be consumed on the splashpad deck only and no glass containers are allowed. No fishing is allowed off the deck during pool hours Handicap & limited parking available at splashpad entrance - all others are asked to park in the Marina lot or on permitted side streets See Full Rules Here! Locker Room Policy Children 5 years of age and older must be able to walk through the locker room on their own. They will not be permitted in the locker room of opposite gender. We recommend that a parent or adult chaperone the child through the locker room.

Our District was formed in August of 1966. FRCPD's primary recreation facility, The REC Center, houses our administrative offices, as well as a courts and turf fieldhouse, an aquatic center, fitness center, fitness classroom, and multipurpose meeting rooms. Mission Statement The Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District shall develop and maintain a responsive, efficient, and creative parks and recreation system for all citizens, composed of a variety of services, park areas, and facilities contributing to the well-being of the individuals, family, the attractiveness of the neighborhood, and the socio-economic health of the community. - Refund/Cancellation Request | Flagg-Rochelle Park District
REFUND/Freeze/Cancellation REQUEST Program Refund Policy Administrative Fee: A $5 fee is deducted from your refund for processing costs. Alternative to Fee: If you prefer, you can transfer the refund amount as a credit towards another program instead of paying the $5 fee. Full Refund Criteria: You'll receive a full refund (minus the $5 fee) if you apply for the refund at least 7 days before the program starts. Deadline for Refunds: Refunds are not available after the registration deadline has passed. Program Cancellation Refund: If the Park District cancels or reschedules a program, you'll receive a full refund. Membership Freeze Policy Memberships can be frozen for up to 3-consecutive months in a 12-month period. During this time, access to the facility is suspended and length of freeze will be added onto the end of a member's existing contract. A minimum of a 30-day notice is required for all freeze requests. The freeze request below needs to be completed monthly. Membership Cancellation Policy Cancellation Eligibility: Annual and EFT Memberships can be considered for cancellation, but not for unused facility access. Contract Membership Cancellation Reasons: You can cancel if you have a physician’s note advising against use or if you permanently move more than 45 miles away. Proof is required (e.g., new driver's license, utility bill, sale papers, or lease). Contract Membership Cancellation: EFT Memberships continue after the first year on a month-to month basis. A 30-day notice and a completed cancellation form are required for all cancellations. Refunds: Refunds are not available for memberships except in specific circumstances. Non-transferable: Memberships and cards cannot be transferred to another person.
