Rochelle's only off-leash dog park at VFW Park that offers 1.75 acres of both shaded and open area for dogs and their owners 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset. VFW Park Dog Park "Bark Park" Bark Park, located at 901 S. Main Street in Rochelle, is the perfect spot for dogs to stretch their legs, play, and socialize off-leash. This spacious, fenced area features plenty of shade from mature trees and several picnic tables for owners to relax and enjoy the outdoors. REC Fieldhouse Our multi-purpose floor is Mondo brand - 26,000 square feet that is lined for 4 basketball courts, 2 IHSA basketball courts, 4 volleyball courts, and 1 doubles tennis court. The Mondo flooring provides diversity in use: pickleball, wresting, dances, or special events! Surrounding the entire perimeter of the fieldhouse is a 10 foot path for walking & running. Drop down curtains provide flexibility and safety for the space. Rent Courts The fieldhouse is also home to 36,000 square feet of AstoTurf PureGrass field turf. Lined for two soccer fields, but can be used for football, baseball, golf, track, and more! On the turf, you'll also find 2 drop-down batting cages that can be used with our pitching machines to practice softball or baseball AND gives golfers the ability to take a few practice swings in the winter months. REC Fieldhouse Rules & Dress Code Rules: Children 10 & under must be accompanied by an adult (18 years+) at all times while in the facility. After 7:00pm on weekdays, anyone under 16 years of age must be directly supervised by an adult 21 years of age or older. Gum, sunflower seeds, and tobacco products are prohibited in the facility. Except for capped water bottles, food and drinks are not allowed in the Fieldhouse. We encourage users to bring their own sports equipment, as rentals may be limited. Please do not hang on permanent athletic equipment (soccer goals, batting cages, and basketball hoops.) Personal audio equipment may only be used with headphones. Please keep the walking path, turf fields, and courts clear of any personal belongings Patrons must abide by dress code and general conduct policy. The Rochelle Park District is not responsible for items lost or stolen in this facility. Dress Code: Clean, athletic, closed toed shoes are required in the fieldhouse. Crocs, Hey Dudes, slides, etc. are not permitted. Rubber cleats or turf spikes are allowed on the turf area only. (No metal spikes) Shirts that fully cover chest, back, sides, and abdomen are required at all times. Full Rules

It does not guarantee the cleanliness of the shelter, as it is a public space. We strongly suggest checking the condition of the shelter the day of your reservation. $75/day Outdoor Athletic Rentals Athletic facilities are available for rent by individuals or groups on an as available basis as not to conflict with Park District programs.
