Planning an Event? We have your solution! If you are looking for that perfect place to host your next family gathering, birthday party, graduation, company party or shower, then look no further! The Flagg-Rochelle Park District has several locations available for your use. Come make lasting memories at one of our shelters and picnic sites located in our beautiful parks! Please call early to ensure the site of your choice.

How Do I Reserve a Facility?

  • Reservations are to be made in person at the Park District Office, 735 N. 2nd St. At this time the deposit is due, a rental agreement is filled out and a copy of your driver's license is attached to the agreement. Please note the deposit is forfeited if rental is cancelled 7 days or less of rental date.
  • Facility keys may be picked up no earlier then 3 days prior to your rental. Remaining fees are due at this time. Rental keys need to be picked up during Park Office business hours.
  • Keys must be returned after your scheduled rental. The deposit refund will be processed and mailed within 10 business days pending no rule violations and facility condition.
  • Consumption of alcohol and smoking are prohibited and results in a full loss of deposit.

Picnic Pack Rental

  • The Pack consists of volleyball and net, softballs, baseballs, bats, bases, Frisbees and horseshoes.
  • Picnic Pack is available for rent at the Park District Office. Call 815-562-7813 to secure your 4-day reservation.
  • Rentals must be picked up and returned during Park District Office hours.

Please keep our parks pleasant

Acts of vandalism or suspicious activity in the parks create an unhealthy environment and impacts all of us. Vandalism is costly and uses resources that could be used to improve, expand and/or enhance our parks. Vandalism in the form of graffiti or destruction of property, creates a poor image of our neighborhoods and will also reduce property values. Vandalism makes park equipment and facilities unusable. We all need to help.

Park & Path Rules

  • No alcohol, smoking, or drugs
  • Don't be a litter bug - put trash in its place
  • Dogs must be leashed
  • Clean up after your pet
  • No swimming in unauthorized areas
  • No fishing at north end of Spring Lake when pool is open
  • Firearms and hunting prohibited
  • Motorized vehicles are permitted in parking lots only
  • Walk or ride on the right, pass on the left
  • Removal of erosion control material from banks along Kyte Creek is prohibited

Lake Sule Rules

  • Open sunrise to sunset
  • No alcohol, smoking, or drugs
  • Catch limit is posted
  • No wake
  • No swimming
  • Valid fishing license required

Skate Park

Skate Park Hours: Sunrise to Sunset

The Skate Park is free to use and open to all age groups using skateboards and rollerblades. Sorry, no bikes allowed. Courtesy is encouraged at all parks.

Skate Park Rules & Guidelines:

  • Skating area is unsupervised; participants skate at their own risk.
  • CAUTION: Inline skating and skateboarding are high-risk recreational activities. Ride at your own risk and within your abilities. Falls are likely to occur and can result in sprains, bruises, abrasions and more serious bodily injuries and/or death.
  • It is recommended that proper protective equipment such as helmets, elbow pads, knee pads and wrist pads are used during skating and boarding activities.
  • Participants are responsible for inspecting all facility equipment and skating surfaces prior to use to ensure that it has not been vandalized and is safe for skating.
  • Contact the Park District if equipment is damaged or vandalized by calling 562-7813.

We may elect to temporarily or permanently close the Skate Park if the rules are not followed.
