Pool, Sauna & Spa Rules
- Children 7 yrs and under must be accompanied and supervised by
a
responsible adult 18 yrs or older. - Children 8 - 15 yrs must be accompanied and supervised by a
responsible
adult 18 yrs or older when lifeguard is not on duty. - Children 3 yrs and under must wear swim diaper and tight fi
tting rubber
or plastic pants. Diapers must be changed in the locker room and
NOT on the pool deck. - Patrons must be 16 yrs+ to use the spa and sauna.
- A swimsuit is required to enter pool and spa (unlined
boardshorts, cutoffs,
gym shorts, leotards and undergarments are not permitted). - Flotation devices are prohibited.
- Approved life jackets are available for patron use free of
charge. Children
wearing a life jacket must remain in the shallow section of the
pool and must be supervised by an adult 18 yrs of age or older. - Food and beverages are allowed only in designated areas.
Absolutely
NO glass containers allowed. - Smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Individuals
under the
infl uence will be denied entry and/or removed from the facility. - Street shoes are prohibited on pool deck.
- Cell phones are prohibited in locker rooms.
- Do NOT leave valuables unattended. Lockers and locks are
available
for use. Park District is not responsible for lost/stolen items. - All guests must take a soapy shower before entering pool and
spa. After
using sauna, patrons are required to shower before entering pool. - All other state and local health codes apply.
- A 10 min. lifeguard break will be taken every hour on the hour
during
open swim. Patrons 18 yrs or older may swim during break. All others
must exit the water and sit away from the edge of the pool. - Lap swimmers may bring and use their own swimming aids
(kickboard,
fins, goggles, noodles). No water wings in the pool at any time. - Water running equipment and prescribed therapeutic devices are
allowed
during open swim hours.

Adaptive Aquatics
The Flagg-Rochelle Park District offers adaptive swim lessons for children, teens and adults. Lessons will be tailored to meet the special needs of individuals with either physical or developmental challenges. Qualified instructors focus on each individual's strengths and tailor the sessions to enhance his/her ability level. An individual with a disability (as defined by the ADA) is a person who has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities. Each lesson is 30 min. in length. Please register at the Park District office. An instructor will contact you to schedule days, times and location of your lessons.
Private Swim Lessons
Private swim lessons are available for adults and children who desire one on one instruction. Each lesson is 30 minutes in length. Please register at the Park District office. You will be contacted to schedule the days, times and location of your lesson(s). Private swim lessons will NOT be scheduled on days and times when group lessons are offered. A limited number of private lessons are available. Please register early.
Personal Training
Need help reaching your personal fitness goal? Would you like to improve your overall workout? Receive individual attention? Learn proper form? Stay motivated? We can help! Whether you are a beginner, have worked out for years, or would like to have more energy, our personal/fitness trainers acan provide the instruction, guidance and support necessary to help oyu feel and see results. Weekday Pool Rental
Not-for-Profit groups / organizations (i.e. churches, scout groups, day care centers, schools, etc.) may rent Hickory Grove Pool during the days/times listed below. Swimming lessons and/or special activities and events may be planned during your rental. Music, kickboards, diving rings, and pool toys are provided. Certified lifeguard(s), swim lesson instructor(s) and supervisor(s) must be secured by those who rent the pool. A minimum of 1 certified lifeguard is required. Groups must provide 1 adult chaperone (18 yrs+) for every 5 children, age 7 and under.
Monday - Friday 11:30am-3:30pm
$80/hour
Private Pool Rental
Great for birthdays, team parties, family outings, corporate gatherings and more! Certified lifeguards are provided. Includes use of inner tubes, noodles, pool games, toys and music. Rental party is responsible for providing a minimum of 1 adult chaperone for every 5 children under 8 years of age.

Locker Room Policy
Children 5 years of age and older must be able to change their
clothing and walk through the locker room on their own. The Park
District recommends that a parent or adult chaperone of the same
gender accompany the child through the locker room. Children
will
not be permitted in the locker room of the opposite gender.
Locker Rooms Will Be Closed/Locked promptly at closing
times. Please adjust your workout/swim times accordingly to allow
yourself ample time to change.
Locker Rental: Daily Fee $1, Yearly Fee $20
