wonderful places to practice, experiment with your club selection,
enjoy the beautiful outdoors and have some fun!

The range is located in Skare Park, which is six miles west of
Rochelle on Flagg Road.

Small Bucket (1 token-25 balls) $3.00
Large Bucket (2 tokens-50 balls) $5.00 (please
use a five-dollar bill)

Golfers are not allowed on the Driving Range if lightening or
thunder occurs. Sorry no refunds or credits when range closes to
inclement weather, etc.
Skate Park
The Skate Park is free to use and open to all age groups using
skateboards and rollerblades. Sorry, no bikes allowed. Courtesy is
encouraged at all parks.

Rules & Guidelines:
- Skating area is unsupervised; participants skate at their own risk.
- CAUTION: Inline skating and skateboarding are high-risk recreational activities. Ride at your own risk and within your abilities. Falls are likely to occur and can result in sprains, bruises, abrasions and more serious bodily injuries and/or death.
- It is recommended that proper protective equipment such as helmets, elbow pads, knee pads and wrist pads are used during skating and boarding activities.
- Participants are responsible for inspecting all facility equipment and skating surfaces prior to use to ensure that it has not been vandalized and is safe for skating.
- Contact the Park District if equipment is damaged or vandalized by calling 562-7813.
See signs at the Skate Park for rules and more information or contact the Park District Office for details. The Park District may elect to temporarily or permanently close the Skate Park if the rules are not followed. We need your help to keep it fun, safe and open.
Volleyball League Co-Rec A
Our Park District offers Co-Ed volleyball leagues. The district provides referee, venue to play, schedules, tournament, and awards. League fee, team name, and captain's information are due at the time of registration. Must be 18 yrs or older to participate. January 9th is registration deadline. The minimum amount of teams must be registered for league play.

Men's Basketball League
Gather your teammates and get a jump on the winter basketball season to reap its long-term benefits! Please note that you must register by team only, not individually. Registration is held at the park office. It is a 10 week season plus a double elimination tournament. Teams must provide same color shirts with numbers for all team members.

Badminton Tournament
Grab a friend and come play in our St. Patrick's Day adult Co-Ed Badminton tournament! The tournament will be a double elimination tournament. Must be 18 years or older to play. Please register as a team not individually. Two players are on the court at a time, maximum of 4 players on a roster.

Kickball Club
The Park District is offering a Kick Ball Club! One of the best social games! Every date new teams will be formed as players show up, so players get a chance to play with everyone! This is a great opportunity for kids to get out, socialize, learn an oldie but goodie game, and have fun! Games will be officiated to avoid arguments.

Adult Kickball Tournament
Bring back playground memories and grab your friends for our Adult Kickball Tournament! In this Social Event of the year you must be 18 years or older to participate. District provides officials and awards for the winners. Each team must have a minimum of 8 players: 9 players can play at a time. You must register as a team; not individually.

Introduction to Lacrosse
La-Crosse Noun: A team game, originally played by North American Indians, in which the ball is thrown, caught, and carried with a netted stick. Come learn the fundamentals of the fastest growing sport in the Midwest! This class will teach the basic skills of shooting, passing, cradling, picking up ground balls, and teamwork! Must provide own lacrosse stick.

Class Registration
- Pre-registration is required for all programs and should be done at least one week prior to activity. Programs may cancel due to lack of registration; so register early!
- Phone-in registrations accepted with Visa or MasterCard.
- Register for Park District programs in person or by mail to 735 N. 2nd St. Fax to 815-562-5383.
- Register for Hickory Grove membership's in person at Hwy. 251 & Rt. 38, or call 815-562-4466.
- Participants not residing within the Township are considered a non-resident ("NR").
- Grades reflect the 2010-11 school year.
- m/M minimum/Maximum enrollment per program.
Refunds
A $5 processing fee will be assessed if a participant cancels prior to the start of the program. No refunds will be given on or after the day the activity is scheduled to begin. No refunds/credit given for classes or days missed by participant.
